How does it work?

You can designate our organization as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy you own. Simply ask your agent or insurance provider for a “Change of Beneficiary” form.

This designation is not permanent and can be changed by you at any time. You remain the owner of the policy and maintain complete control and flexibility.

We will receive the proceeds from your life insurance policy outside of probate – meaning we are able to apply your gift to our mission quicker.

Your estate is entitled to an estate tax deduction for the full amount of insurance proceeds we receive.

Note: You do not receive an income tax deduction for naming us as a beneficiary of your life insurance. If you are looking for an income tax deduction, you can still use your life insurance policy to make a gift.
